Welcome to SEACOAST SEEK.
WHAT IS THIS THING?
-----------------------------------
Seacoast Seek is a one-day bicycle
scavenger hunt from Portsmouth to
Dover NH. Teams of riders are handed
a manifest of items, places, and
tasks to track down. Each item is
worth points. Collect what you can
in six hours, swap stories at the
finish, win prizes for 1st, 2nd, and
3rd, drink a beer. That's the whole
thing.
TEAM FORMAT & REGISTRATION
-----------------------------------
Teams are 4 riders max.
Have fewer than 4? Don't sweat it.
You can register as a partial team
and we'll either:
- Pair you up with other solos /
duos to form a full squad, or
- Apply a handicap so smaller
teams score on a fair curve.
(We're still finalizing how this
works. More soon.)
Register in-person at Treeline
Outfitters from 11 AM to 12 noon
the day of the ride.
$20 per rider. Sign the waiver,
get the manifest, souvenir spoke
card, and entry to the finish-line
party.
RULES OF PLAY
-----------------------------------
- You get a manifest at the start.
- You have until 6 PM to collect
as many points as you can as a
team.
- Photo proof is required for each
item you claim. Details on what
counts will be in the manifest.
- Your full team must arrive at
the finish together by 6 PM or
your score doesn't count.
- Have fun. Be safe.
START & FINISH
-----------------------------------
We start and finish at different
places this year.
START: Treeline Outfitters
125 Brewery Ln, Portsmouth NH
FINISH: Garrison City Beerworks
455 Central Ave, Dover NH
No required checkpoints in between.
Plan your own route. It's ok to
split up team members.
The only hard deadlines are:
- 12:00 noon - manifest delivered,
ride begins
- 6:00 PM - finish at GCB
SCORING
-----------------------------------
Each item on the manifest has a
point value. Higher-value items are
usually farther away, harder to
find, or weirder to pull off. Some
items are per person and some are
per team.
You won't be able to collect every
item. That's the point. Strategy
matters as much as speed.
(Point weighting is still being
finalized. Final values will appear
on the manifest at race start.)
PRIZES:
- Most Points for 1st, 2nd, 3rd
- Best Photo Submission

Casual teams: 15-25 mi.
Moderate teams: 30-40 mi.
